The Sentinel is the third highest rank of the Brotherhood, There is only one sentinel per chapter and they are usually the daughter/son of the Elder or High Elder of the chapter however it is possible to achieve the rank if you prove outstanding and the chapter's Elder recognizes it.
The Elder of the Brotherhood in Fallout 85 is Elder Davis. The Elder rank is extremely hard to achieve and rules as second in command of the Whole Brotherhood. They also attend the Council of Elders and report directly to the High Elder of the Brotherhood.
They serve loyal to the cause of the Brotherhood Initiatives and are permitted to Hand out ranks higher than knight. The Elder Rank is an extremely respected rank of the Brotherhood, The elder is in charge of a whole section of the Brotherhood in most cases this is a whole state of Brotherhood troops. This rank is in charge of every single Brotherhood Soldier on the same side as the United States as them and has to be part of the Council of Elders or 'The Brotherhood's Ruling Council' That makes crucial decisions for the future of the wasteland. The High Elder rank is given to the highest ranking Elder of the East or West Coast Chapter of the Brotherhood of Steel, High Elder Arthur Maxon serves as the High Elder in Fallout 85 although we do not see him in game.
